Rehearsal begin for Bach’s most magnificent choral work

Sheffield Bach Choir is excited to start rehearsing Bach’s magnificent Mass in B minor, which many consider the best choral work ever written but is certainly a masterpiece of choral and orchestral composition.

Completed in 1749, the B Minor Mass has long been celebrated as one of the pinnacles of Western music, and musicians and scholars continue to marvel at its complexity, beauty, and spiritual depth.

We are always happy to welcome new members, so if you’d like to join the choir in time to sing this glorious work, come along to one of our Monday rehearsals as soon as you can – see Join Us for further details.
