Due to the coronavirus and in line with Government guidelines, we sadly had to abandon our 71st season.
Sheffield Bach Society’s 71st concert season was planned to include plenty of Bach, with the St Matthew Passion at Easter and a feast of Bach featuring Darius Battiwalla on the organ in October. In contrast we planned Honegger and Bernstein in November, with Elgar and Vaughan Williams in June and regular favourite Messiah at Christmas. Unfortunately due to the coronavirus pandemic, we have had to abandon the season.
We are very hopeful of being able to present our 72nd season commencing in autumn 2021, especially now that vaccines are available.
Wishing you all our very best wishes.
